Murcia, Julio-2022.- 75% of the hours dedicated to administrative efforts in SMEs could be automated by reducing expenses, time, errors and avoiding stops.
80% of the company's information is in unstructured data, that is, they are not in the system in a recognized and easily accessible way such as emails, WhatsApp, text documents, calculation, PDF and images among others. But is in the system unusable to work, missing the information.
Artificial intelligence, key to digital data management in SMEs
It is not very productive to have personnel dedicated to reviewing invoices, budgets, albaranes, orders, contracts, deeds, DNIS, catalogs, payment justificants ... and those who will add the specific documents for each sector, for classification, extraction, copied and insertion of the data in the system, especially when it is possible to automate or semi -automatize the task with the support of the AI (artificial intelligence). 75% of the hours dedicated to administrative efforts such as these could be automated.
We live in an era where about 7,000 million daily messages between emails and social networks are sent. Between these messages and those written on the web there is valuable information for the company, from data within the attached texts or documents, to opinions that must be taken into account to improve. IA can also help collect that information for the company.
In this scenario, " companies must have a mechanism to automatically manage information from unstructured data, enhance human creativity among their employees, as well as seek the added value that they can contribute to the company, delegating the tasks of machines to the robots and applications," explains Isidoro López-Briones Santos, responsible for Gowtech digital technological strategies Digitizer .
Automatic processes with artificial intelligence can save a lot of time and money from companies. They can work 24 hours 365 days a year, at some costs of just a few cents per operation, which means being about 4 times more economical than a person, in less time and without stops.
Gowtech launches a free app to extract data
Gowtech makes available, without cost, a web application that uses artificial intelligence where SMEs can verify how data is extracted from documents, such as a photo made with the mobile. " The data contained in these documents will be extracted by artificial intelligence, being able to be used in a production environment, to be automatically integrated into the company's computer system ," says Isidoro López-Briones.
And having the digital document is not having the information in the system. For example, if a company comes to PDF, you can manage them more comfortably than if they are a lot of papers. But what you really need to be able to make the accounting is that the data on that invoice are in the computer system, for this you have to extract the data and put them in the system.
Once the data is entered in the system, the possibilities of automation of additional tasks are enormous and if we add artificial intelligence again , we can apply more automation and draw new conclusions that otherwise would not be possible or would be very complicated.
