Aids aimed at promoting the digital transformation of the Spanish industry
On December 2, it was published in the BORM, by order of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the call for aid aimed at promoting the digital transformation of the Spanish industry within the framework of the “Connected Industry 4.0” to promote the implementation of the digital transformation of the Spanish industry through industrial companies.
This strategy has the fundamental objective of industrial policy, the impulse of a strong, competitive and international reference industrial sector, which contributes to the recovery of economic activity and employment creation.

In this way, they will be able to assume the risks inherent to the activities aimed at achieving their evolution to the digital economy and will favor the development of a local offer of levers and differential digital solutions , which enhances the Spanish industry and promotes its exports.
What are these aids?
The aids consist of receiving specialized and individualized advice that will include a diagnosis of the starting situation of the company that requests it and the elaboration of a digital transformation plan.
The advice will be provided through individualized meetings with the beneficiary companies and the realization of thematic and demonstrative workshops to support advice, with a minimum of 50 hours of individualized advice.
This advice will have the condition of aid in kind.
The beneficiary company will receive within the specialized advice the following services:
• Prior diagnosis of the company's departure digital situation and an internal analysis of the organization and business.
• Digital transformation plan that will include the definition of plan actions, quantification and prioritization of digitalization opportunities and a benchmarking of enabling.
• The necessary visits will be made to the facilities of the beneficiary industry. In the event that visits to the facilities cannot be carried out due to just cause, they may be carried out virtually prior authorization from the EOI Foundation (Industrial Organization School).
• Demonstrative workshops of practical content , which bring digital solutions to industrial companies benefiting the advice.
Who can benefit?
Companies that have their work center in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia , whatever their legal form, whether natural or legal persons, associations, non -profit entities, etc. That, as such, they develop or will develop a productive industrial activity if their corporate purpose refers to activities framed in section C - Divisions 10 to 32 of the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE 2009).
What is the amount to be received?
The EOI Foundation will grant a subsidy under the modality of aid in kind with an individualized maximum amount of € 9,185.00 per beneficiary industrial company, which completes the advice process.
The beneficiary company will contribute to the service paying € 605.00.
In order for the advice to be carried out, the beneficiary company will be required to have previously made to the EOI Foundation a 20% payment on account of the amount of the total amount of the amount that corresponds to it for the advice to said beneficiary company. Once the preliminary visit to it has been made.
This payment on account will be deducted from the total amount to pay the EOI Foundation to the completion of the advice.
The beneficiary company will pay the rest of the amount that corresponds to it, by bank transfer to the account indicated by the foundation in the call, within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the issuance of the invoice. This issuance will be carried out at the end of the advice.
What is the deadline for submitting applications?
The deadline for submitting applications will be from the following to the publication of this extract in the Official State Gazette until January 12, 2021 , inclusive.
